These shows were all HotHotHot! And not like Chicago on 7-17-2012 when it was 110 degrees and my feet were melting to the pavement, another awesome show. These Red Rocks shows were hot in another sense, they sounded amazing. My favorites are the "Just a Little Light" on Thursday night (I'm always Grateful for Brent), the "Death Don't have No Mercy" on Friday was bellissimo, and watching the moon rise over the horizon on Saturday Night and listening to "Standing On the Moon" was unforgettable.

This show was amazing! One of the best I have ever seen. This band is really coming together. Bob was spot on, Phil played phenomenally, Chimenti was all over those keys, Russo was dancing on the drums, and John K. came to play! Saw Friday which was also a great show, but this was the one! It was inspired playing throughout, you could see the Band was having a great time. Bob even threw out a few howls. Nice vocals as well, I just could not believe it. Sorry to miss Sunday and Branford, it must have been fabulous. Excellent recording here. I would surely download this one. Check out the Jack Straw, Rag, Shakedown, Unbroken Chain, even Box of Rain was off the hook! Thanks for the sweet recording, and THANK YOU FURTHUR!!

I thought this was a great show. The only weak spots were, sadly, the At a Siding/Terrapin Flyer (poor cues led to an awkward, uninspired performance)and Weir prematurely ending Lovelight. Otherwise, great stuff! Dig in.
